UPCET 2021: Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test is a mandatory test which shall be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from Academic Session 2021-22. Students should know that actually, UPCET shall replace the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) and Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) which were held in paper pen mode for admission to various courses including B.Tech., BBA, B.Arch., BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, B. Voc, B. Pharm, B. Des.,MBA, MCA, MBA (Integrated), M.Tech., M.Tech. (Integrated), M.Sc. and Lateral entry to B. Tech/B. Pharm.
Earlier this year, Govt. of UP has entrusted NTA the task to conduct UPCET 2021 and at the same time has decided the admission rules of the following courses –

How to Apply for UPCET 2021 Registration ?
The interested candidates have to apply for UPCET-2021 “Online” only through the dedicated direct link at the official website at www.nta.nic.in. The application Form other than online mode will not be valid, in any case. Moreover, a candidate can submit only one application. However, a candidate can apply for more than one course in the same Application Form subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria and on payment of applicable fees. Now, when the candidates visit the NTA website, he/she shall find two application forms links. These two application links are for –
- For UG courses, MBA (Integrated) and MCA (Integrated) and
- For Post Graduate Courses.
Thus, the candidates should choose the correct form as applicable to them, before filling the application form.
Particulars to Apply for NTA UPCET 2021 Online Application
The interested applicant should keep the following particulars ready to apply and complete the UPCET Application Form smoothly.
- A computer with proper internet connectivity.
- The Date of Birth (as per Class X Board Certificate),
- Govt Identity Details like Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits)/ Election Card (EPIC No.)/ Passport number/ Ration Card Number/ Bank Account Number/ PAN Number/ Other valid Govt IDs.
- Educational/ Qualification details,
- Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) either in colour or black & white.
- Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb),
- Bank account details for payment of fee,
- A valid e-mail Id and mobile number.
Steps to Apply Online for UPCET 2021 Registration
Time needed: 5 minutes.
The NTA Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test Application cum registration process is actually a set of four steps. So, here these for steps of application are discussed. Interested applicants can refer to these to apply and complete the form fill up within the deadline.
- Step-1: Register and Generate Application Number
At first, the interested candidate should click the course wise correct online Application Link and enter the all the details. After successful submission of the personal details, the Application number will be generated. The candidates shall have to use this Application Number and Password created for the remaining steps of the application form.
- Step-2: Complete the Application Form
In this stage, the candidate can login with the system generated Application Number and Password to complete the Application Form. Candidate should enter the personal & educational details, domicile, select the Exam Centre.
- Step-3: Uploading of required images.
Here the applicant shall have to upload scanned images in JPG/JPEG format of the following –
1. Photograph
2. Signature
3. Medical Certificate for PWD Candidates.
Note: Candidates should upload the correct Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction in images will not be available later. - Step-4: Fees Payment
Finally, the candidate has to select Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/ Paytm or UPI option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee. After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the confirmation Page.
