Rules & Regulations for Degree Course Admission
Bidhan Chandra College Rishra has two shifts – Day and Evenings. The Day Shift is Co-educational while the Evening Shifts is for Boys Only. Here we shall discuss the eligibility for admission to this college. A candidate shall not be allowed to take up the subjects under the heading (A) if he/she has not passed the subject (s) mentioned under the heading (B) in the previous qualifying examination.

A candidate with a view to taking up honours must have to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in Subject or 55% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination or 50% marks in aggregate when the candidate takes up honours in the subject not included in his/her previous qualifying examination. For the purpose of admission to the B.Com Honours Course in Accounting and Finance, ‘related subject’ shall mean Mathematics, Cost Accountancy and Principles of Management.
For Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe Candidates, the minimum requirement for taking up honors is 40% marks in aggregate or 40% marks in the subject/ related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
Bidhan Chandra College Rishra Merit List 2022
Every candidate should note that admission strictly according to the marks obtained in the H.S /(10+2) examination and mere submission of filled in application form does not guarantee admission. For the calculation of Bidhan Chandra College, Rishra Merit List 2022 Aggregate marks shall be calculated.
The BC College Rishra Merit List 2022 will be prepared by adding the marks in ‘ Top-Four’ subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate in accordance with the ‘ Calcutta University Admission Regulations ’. Thus the aggregate marks are arranged in the descending order and shall be released through a list.
