HS & Degree Courses offered at Furkating College
At UG Programme Level, Furkating College offers Three-year (Six Semester) Degree programme in Arts under CBCS of Dibrugarh University. Subject Combination– Subject Combination will be different for students opting for different subjects as Honours or core courses. The college provides facilities to study 10+2 in both Science and Arts streams. The details of the courses are as follows –
H.S 1st Year Arts (Any four Subject).
Combination 1: English, Assamese/ Alternative English, Pol Science/ Education, Economics, Sociology/Swadesh Adhyan, Adv. Assamese.
Combination 2: English, Assamese /Alt. English (Compulsory), Pol Science/ Education, History, Geography, Economics, Adv. Assamese, Sociology.
H.S 1st Year Science
English, Assamese /Alt.English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Geography /Biology.
Eligibility for Admission to HS / UG Courses
| HS Courses | Degree Courses |
| HSLC or equivalent examination passed | HS passed or a degree passed students from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or any recognized board may apply for admission. However, the applicant must secure at least 50% marks in the subject in which he or she desires to take honors. |
