Haryana Police Commando Posts 2021 – Selection Process
The Selection of the Constable in Commando Wings of Haryana will be through the following stages –
- Physical Measurement Test
- Physical Screening Test (PST)
- Knowledge Test
The names of successful candidates in the order of merit on the basis of aggregate marks achieved by the candidates in (PMT+PST+ Knowledge Test) shall be arranged by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission equal to the total number of vacancies for each category separately.
HSSC Constable Commando PMT Details
The first stage of selection will be PMT or Physical Measurement Test. Candidates will be allotted marks based on the physical standard. The mark distribution scheme is available below for the reference.

- Candidates less than 175 CM would not be qualified.
- Regarding Chest: The measurement should be 83 cm plus a minimum expansion of 4 cm.

- Relaxation of 2 cm in Height and Chest will be given only to SC/ST and BC category candidates.
- The candidates who fail to meet the standards prescribed for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) shall stand eliminated from further selection process.
Haryana Police Commando PST Details
Only the candidates who qualify the standards prescribed for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) shall take part in the PST part of the selection. Regarding Physical Screening Test(PST), there shall be following three tests for physical screening test each with a distribution of 10 marks. A candidate shall have to qualify all the 3 tests prescribed. The prescribed tests, qualifying standards and marks shall be as under:

All these candidates who qualify in the Physical Screening Test (PST) will be eligible to appear for the knowledge test. The knowledge test shall be of only 60 marks. The knowledge test shall be of objective type having Hundred (100) multiple choice questions of 0.60 marks each and of Ninety(90) minutes duration.While each correct answer will get 0.6 marks. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.The medium of examination shall be bilingual i.e. both in Hindi as well as in English.
