ICAR IARI Assistant Recruitment Selection Process
Indian Council of Agricultural Research will conduct the following selection rounds to recruit the eligible candidates for ICAR IARI Assistant Vacancy 2022.

- The Mains Exam has 2 parts, Paper I & Paper II.
- Paper I will have MCQ while Paper II will be descriptive in nature.
- Mains Exam Paper – I will be conducted in online mode.
- Mains Exam Paper – II will be conducted in offline mode.
- 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in Paper – I of the Main Examination.
- The minimum qualifying marks according to category:
- For UR : 30%,
- For OBC/ EWS : 25%,
- SC/ST/Divyang : 20%
- If a candidate does not obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Mains Exam Paper – I, then answer sheet of his/her Paper-II will not be evaluated.
- Total Duration of the Test is 2 hours.
ICAR Assistant Computer Proficiency Test Pattern
The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will be held comprising of three modules:
- Word Processing,
- Spread Sheet and
- Generation of Slides.
The Duration of each module will be 15 minutes. The Test will be qualifying in nature and qualifying in all the three Modules will be mandatory.
