WB GNM Merit List 2022 @ wbjeeb.nic.in : WBJEE has released the GNM Nursing Entrance Result on wbjeeb.nic.in. Earlier, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has accepted the online registration for “GNM Course Session 2022-23”. Thereafter, based on the submitted application, the Board has successfully concluded the Entrance Examination to select the candidates against the Nursing Training Centers participated. The allocation of candidates shall be based on the State Level Merit List. Candidates may check the cutoff marks category wise and allocation list against the Nursing Institutes on the release of the WB GNM Result 2022.
West Bengal Health Department earlier to this used to release the admission advertisement notification for West Bengal General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Training. However, from now onwards the admission will be through joint entrance exam organised by WBJEEB. Hence, the candidates who appeared WB GNM Entrance Exam 2021 must check Merit List & Result from the WBJEE Official Website.

West Bengal Joint GNM Entrance Nursing Merit List 2022
Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal till last year had announced the GNM Nursing Admission application. But from this academic Session, the selection for admission will be on the basis of performance in an entrance examination. WB GNM Admission Merit List Selection Criteria
The selection for the WB GNM Course Admission is on the total marks obtained in WBJEE GNM Entrance Test. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board releases the WB GNM Rank Card / Merit List on the basis of scores in the Entrance Test Scores. The individual candidates will be able to view and download his/her Rank Card which will have the score and rank. WBJEE does not publish any general ranks / score list.
In general, WBJEE will publish Rank WISE Result for GNM Admission. The rank shall be in the name and style of “GMR” ( General Merit Rank ). The Ranking will be done in the descending order of marks in the entrance test. Candidates shall be able to check category Wise Rank information on the GMR. Please note that, WB GNM Counselling / Allotment / Admission will be on the sequence order of the GMR only.
WB GNM Merit Tie Breaking Rules
In case of a tie between two or a more candidates, the Board shall determine the WBJEE GNM Merit Rank by adopting the method any after the other till it is resolved.

WB GNM Counseling Details ( Next Stage after Merit List)
After the Merit List publication, provisionally shortlisted candidates should appear for the counseling and document verification at the date announced. Further at the time of Counseling, candidates should be present with –
- Self-attested/ Group A Officer attested educational documents
- Original Residential Certificate
- PWD Certificate ( if applicable )
- One Copy of color photograph same as in online application
- Medical Certificate Proforma duly certified.
The Venue of Document verification and Counseling will be the Nursing Colleges to which the candidates submitted the application.
