Mathabhanga College Merit List 2023 Calculation
Similar to other colleges, the Admission to Mathabhanga College will be done strictly on the basis of merit. The Mathabhanga College Merit List 2023 will be prepared based on INDEX MARK for all categories of students. For this, the INDEX MARK will be calculated as follows.
- The formula of INDEX MARK = T+2S/6,
- T= marks obtained in English + marks obtained in the subject opted for Honours + best marks of two subjects (excluding ENVS, the subject opted for Honours and English).
- S= marks obtained in the subject opted for Honours.
However, if the candidate does not have the specific subject (opted for Honours) in his/her previous Course, the procedure for INDEX Mark calculation will be as follows –
- INDEX MARK = T/4,
- T= marks obtained in English + best marks of the other three subjects excluding ENVS.
This procedure is also applicable to General Courses Merit List Calculation.
